Marie Jossie Johansson,

born in Kerala, a southern state in India know to some as “Gods own country.” At a young age, Marie moved to Sweden, a land she quickly discovered was blessed with rich and beautiful Nordic nature. Marie spent much of her adult life traveling and living around the world, to date she has lived in seven countries, ranging from places in Asia, Africa to Europe.

Like Marie, her artistry is a stunning blend of Nordic and Indian nature. Marie uses techniques that range from sponge, knife to pencil.

She has now been re discovered by Anna Bronzoni Catellani, conservator and art historian, and is due to have her first vernissage on the 12th to the 25th of August 2022, at Greger’s Ataljé located in Södermalm, southern Stockholm.
